His desire to stretch the boundaries of woodworking has led to the creation of the instruments available at blindwormguitars.com. The unique materials and sleek design work are important, but Andrew’s obsessions are precision and sound quality. He isn’t making wall art, he is creating sonic masterpieces.
Andrew’s focus in woodworking is to pair rare and tonally superior woods with unique materials and designs, while adhering to strict standards in regards to playability. He encourages design input and will custom tailor an instrument to suit the customer’s specific desires. Andrew has been known to use many semi-precious stones, granite fingerboards, jade parts, dinosaur bone and teeth, and even meteorite!
